Clare Anderson named as one of twelve exceptional female Founders.

Clare Anderson, the founder of Sensory Retreats and UK distributor of Lava Shells, has been named one of 12 exceptional female founders featured in OK! Magazine's special International Women's Day edit. Her recent achievement as a finalist in the highly-regarded Great British Entrepreneur Awards is a testament to her successful entrepreneurship journey to date.

Clare and Sensory Retreats were honoured to have the Divine Eyes eye mask selected for inclusion in OK!'s exclusive International Women's Day product box edit, among 11 other esteemed spa, beauty, and wellness brands.  Sensory Retreats’ self-heating Divine Mask was selected for this edit due to its multi-sensory qualities which help the user escape in the moment and experience heavenly relaxation. The Eye Masks has become one of Sensory Retreats’ most in demand products to UK spas.

In addition, Clare was invited to the magazine’s headquarters in London for an interview and photo shoot. Speaking to OK! Clare discussed her entrepreneurial journey:  "My time at Champneys allowed me to hone my skills in designing and developing branded products, fuelling my passion to create my own wellness brand. I successfully launched Shared Beauty Secrets, a thriving trade business specializing in Lava Shells in the UK.
The launch of Sensory Retreats, my consumer-focused brand, was the natural next step. The COVID lockdown presented unexpected challenges, but also provided the opportunity to expedite the launch of Sensory Retreats. With online shopping as our only option, we successfully pivoted the business with a strong digital marketing strategy.
Our sales have continued to grow and thrive since lockdown, making the decision to pivot the business even more fulfilling
."
